No. HeskAPI is an independent, third-party module developed by Tuxxin. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by hesk.com.
No. HeskAPI is a true drop-in module — you unzip it into your HESK root directory and it works alongside HESK without touching any of its original files.
Your software continues to work as-is. We will release an updated version of HeskAPI compatible with the new HESK version for customers with an active support & update subscription.
After completing your PayPal payment you'll receive your license key within 1 business day. We review each purchase manually to prevent fraud — but don't be surprised to see it arrive much sooner, often within minutes.
No. Installation is done via FTP or your hosting control panel's file manager — the same way you installed HESK. No command-line access required.
The API key is a secret token used to authenticate requests. It is generated on install and stored in your HESK database. You can rotate it at any time from the HeskAPI admin panel without any downtime.
No. Each license is valid for a single domain. If you run multiple HESK installs, you'll need a separate license for each one. Contact us for bulk pricing.
Every purchase includes 12 months of email support and access to all updates released during that period. After 12 months your software continues working — you simply won't receive future updates or support until you renew.
Nothing breaks. Your API keeps running exactly as it did before. You just won't have access to new updates or support responses until you renew. You can renew any time within 90 days before expiry.
You'll receive reminder emails at 90 days, 30 days, and 3 days before expiry with a renewal link. You can also renew any time at /renew. Renewal extends your expiry by 365 days from your current expiry date — so early renewal never loses time.
Because HeskAPI is a digital product delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds once your license key has been delivered. If you have a problem with your purchase, contact us and we'll make it right.
Yes. When a ticket is created or updated via the API, HeskAPI calls HESK's native notification system — the same functions HESK uses internally — so staff receive the same email alerts they're used to.
The API lets you programmatically manage tickets from your own code (create, update, reply, close). The webhooks are cron-driven scripts that post a notification to your Discord channel or Slack workspace whenever a new ticket is created — no coding required on your part.
